•Ingredients•
All purpose flour - 500 gms
Powdered sugar - 125 gms
Semolina - 2 tbsp
Pure Ghee - 50 gms +(1 tbsp extra for a crunchy type )
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Coconut milk (thick) of half coconut
Oil to fry
Salt - a pinch
•Method•
Mix the sugar , semolina , salt , cardamom powder and ghee with the all purpose flour and knead it with coconut milk to a soft dough
Keep it to rest , covered with a Muslin cloth for almost 30 mins
Roll out the dough into a slightly thin chapati and cut into squares .
Pinch the two ends of each square from the top and the other two ends from below making them look like flower petals or kormolas .
Deep fry in hot oil till golden and properly cooked and enjoy
