Kosovo Liberation Army (K-L-A) soldiers were still on alert in the north of Pristina on Saturday.
A-P-T-N filmed the heavily armed members of the ethnic-Albanian guerilla army on exercises in the wooded area north of the provincial capital.
The bloody conflict between the secessionist Kosovo Liberation Army and the Serb police continues in Kosovo.
The K-L-A is fighting for autonomy for the region where 90 percent of the population are
ethnic Albanians.
On manoeuvres in the forests north of Pristina the guerillas appeared heavily armed.
While a great deal of the weapons they carry have been smuggled from sympathetic Albania, many of the guns seem quite antiquated, some dating from the Second World War.
Having said that, it has not stopped the K-L-A from becoming a formidable force in their fight against the well equipped Serb police who bear more resemblance to a modern army.
The K-L-A guerillas give all the appearances of a national armed force, wearing German-made fatigues, bearing the K-L-A insignia, and some carrying helmets and anti-tank weapons.
The K-L-A, manning well dug trenches, constantly monitor the Serb positions which in some cases are a mere kilometer (half mile) away.
Rebels told reporters that they fear the Yugoslav army is preparing to move against K-L-A strongholds in the Podujevo area.
Tensions in Kosovo has increased since the discovery in Racak last Saturday of the bodies of 45 ethnic Albanians who are thought to have been massacred by the Serb police.
