If they could somehow achieve this I would drop Flutter and come back to Kotlin

Kotlin doesn't provide UI Flutter does Kotlin is awesome Flutter Dart is sh1t compared to Kotlin The rest to me is not so relevant, I've seen very complex apps written in Flutter working fine

Very nice content! What about performance of applications? Has KMP exactly same performance as Kotlin JVM in Android? What is the comparison Flutter vs KMP vs Swift on IOS ?

Firstly I am a web developer i have some experience in js and React so i was thinking to go with RN but After some research I found that flutter is far better than RN but at that time i was thinking that native development is always best and after some time kotlin will support ios also and for web i already know react So i am thinking to go with Native development using kotlin but what you think about this i should go with flutter or Native development ?

That sounds like a great idea to me. A lot has changed with both technologies since I did this comparison. Anything you'd be particularly interested in being covered?

First of all what a amazing video! You got a new subscribier and I will keep listening you. Thank you so much. So, if I had a android app develop in Kotlin and i have to develop the iOS version (It's my case right now. That's the reason that i'm watching this video) I must choose KMM, right?

Thanks for listening! Glad you enjoyed the video. If you have an existing Android app written in Kotlin, and you need to build that app for iOS as well, you have a few options - build the iOS app from scratch using whatever languages/frameworks you want - use something like Flutter or React Native to build a new Android + iOS app (this would likely require throwing away much of your existing Android code) - use KMM to share Kotlin-based logic between both Android and iOS apps. This would likely still require some refactoring of your existing Android app if the project wasn't build with KMM in mind from the beginning. The UI of your iOS would still need to be build with SwiftUI or UIToolkit - KMM can't build a shared UI right now.

What is the conclusion kmm or flutter?

Depends on what you're trying to do. There's not one right or wrong answer. For me, working in an existing production codebase, I've chosen KMM to share business logic.
