First time I heard this was back in the 90s and I've been hooked ever since. Then when it was in Watchmen that added an entire new dimension to that movie. Now I listen to it and to this day it still mesmerizes me. I never want it to end.

V. Dargain Well Philip Glass is a minimalist composer and JSB is Baroque to the max. An interesting thought though. Jack Bruce said he wished the old JS would have written the bass lines got him to play with Cream.

Very well done. I've listened to at least parts of the OST every week for a few decades. It is so perfect for reflection and thought. Can say how many times I watched the film. I saw it when it first came out in the theater, and it apparently stuck with me much longer than expected.

Poor camera quality or not, you do this piece justice, sir! Beautifully done! This piece alone makes me want to learn how to play a keyboard instrument, if only for this one song. --I also couldn't help but notice your little smirk while playing. When I saw that, I literally yelled out, "HELL YES!" It brings me great joy to see a musician really getting into their music. It's the best feeling in the world, though it's a little tough to smirk whilst playing the oboe! Blessed be, and keep spreading beautiful music!

@@johnknott6539 it’s not that the audio is necessarily poor. If anything, it just goes to show that 99.9% of organ music is meant to be felt first, then heard. That’s my favorite part about playing the organ: crank up the volume, gut out the lower registers, and shake the building. Good times.

Einfach genial......in diesem Tempo klingt es noch „mächtiger“ .......schade dass der sound etwas übersteuert....aber trotzdem kann ich mir das Video immer und immer wieder anschauen und anhören.....vll gibt es ja nochmal ein Remake? 😊 (würde mich sehr sehr freuen)

Glücklicherweise haben mich die KZitem Empfehlungen hierher gebracht. Ich finde Deine Interpretation auf der Kirchenorgel außerordentlich schön. Die Orgel macht die Stimmung noch dramatischer bei dem ohnehin schon traurigen Stück. Falls Du noch Zugang zu der Kirche hast, wäre es richtig cool, dieses Stück noch einmal mit aktueller Technik aufzunehmen und hier zu posten. Danke! Thanks to youtube recommendations I came here and I really love your interpretation of Koyaanisqatsi.The organ adds some kind of dramatic subflavor to it. I'm just wondering if you still have access to the cathedral and could do another run with better sound recording.Would be very appreciated - thank you!
