Hello! Nice video. But: whats the name of this rhyrhm? Couldn't find it! Its not Kpanlogo. When I'm recording drum vides I stay behind the drumme normaly, that solves the problem of right and left hand playing. Thanks

He says the name right at the very beginning: it's called "waka". Less well known than kpanlogo and similar in many ways (same bells as he said).

This rhythm is called "Waka", a Ga rhythm from Accra in Ghana. It is the less well-known cousin of the kpanlogo rhythm. He doesn't show you where the "one" is so check out: kzitem.info/news/bejne/yIp4x6OAq4CTl4Y Waka by Saeed Abbas to make sure you're feeling it in the right place. The 3-note bell part is on there, which is on offbeats "2+, 3+, 4+". Thanks for the video!

Ohyurahdon! (ok, really bad spelling, but you know what I mean, right? No? Well, it's trying to be "Thank you" in Ga.)
