The story about Spacey at 44:18 is crazy. Also good impression of Gabriel Byrne, Kevin!

YES!!! and then I wonder why I'm excited by the promise of this particular podcast.. Perhaps because it promises something beyond famous people showing up and painting a shiny coat upon whatever they've done, or what they're doing.. I realize the aim of this online series is to delve below all that, and to tap into some sort of personal, artistic honesty, though sometimes I'm not convinced. An ideal vid post for genuine fans of this show would be some sort of behind-the-scenes with Kevin and Jaime showing their lives and lifestyle this is the promise...

Kevin, I just wanted to say that I really love your show. When I compare it to the standard talk show interviews, your show is head and shoulders above the competition. Why? Because you do such great background research, and the guest feels so comfortable that you get into great depth. Some of your programs are so outstanding that I rewatch them (over and over again.) You are an excellent host. The only suggestions? More Jamie, more Sam, and get guests that are not always in entertainment. Again, I love your show, and you are doing an amazing job. (Another Alan Arkin interview would be appreciated.)

I actually really loved the back and forth framing of this, between Kevin and Jaime. Very fun and insightful to listen to.

My bus ride for high school was 1 hr each way - first on last off as the school bus lot was down the street from 4th grade on, but high school had the longest ride. I want to say 4th thru 8th grade was probably 35-40 minutes each way.

You mentioned learning to do Cumberbatch doing Rickman. I remember for a long time when people did Cosby they weren't doing Cosby they were doing Eddie Murphy as Cosby. Or Reagan by Phil Hartman, Bush Sr. by Dana Carvey...Do you catch yourself doing that and if so how do you get out of the habit? If necessary.

From his comments in other videos - probably not as they are far more difficult to do and the majority of the listeners don't do the video version.

here’s my question, kev: how can you be satisfied with the number of views you get per video? i just scrolled through your whole episode catalogue, and the show struggles to draw even when A-listers are on. your guest list rivals that of ANY of the top podcasters, yet your numbers are minuscule. been at this level for eight years, now. please email me so i can help you take this podcast where it should be. i’ll do it pro bono, my friend. just want to fix it.
