So it’s a train and it’s going smoothly down the track. Everything is going great. You have a drink in your hands and then all of a sudden Kevin and his sidekick converse and totally derails the conversation. Fuck!

There's so much to like about KPCS - amazing guests, time to get to know them, funny banter and a relaxed environment. HOWEVER, every time I watch an episode I find myself shouting at the screen, "Shut up, Kevin! Let your guest talk! Stop pre-answering the question you are asking!" The missed opportunities are painful to watch.

The way he describes hunting is what a TRUE hunter feels. Not an asshole in the woods with a gun, but a real hunter. From the pleasure of being out in nature, to the remorse for the life you just took. That is what hunting is really about. NOT just killing an animal!
@ownpetard8379
7 жыл бұрын
FULLY agree to a point - and Chris said it the best I've heard, but where I depart is that (deer/elk) hunting is a lot of luck and a little skill. With a long rifle, not much skill is needed. So, there should be a LOT of remorse for taking that life. Humans ape the rest of the predators and do not readily accept that life is very precious - not top of mind. But humans know better. Life is VERY precious. Hunting preserves habitat so it is a necessary 'evil'. if the meat is eaten by the hunter or donated to be eaten, then fine all around.

I understand Kevin Pollak is a known personality, but far out he puts out zero chemistry. I thought this would have the feel of a green room or Chris Hardwick podcast. But man its stale. The first 30 minutes felt like i was in a dentists waiting room eavesdropping on two accountants conversation about the weather and how they went for a walk. Which is a shame because they get great guests. Maybe Kevin should bring in a more colloquial host and just produce the show.

This is probably my least favorite KPCS ever. 1) Samm Levine is at his most annoying. 2) Kevin Pollack launches on some ignorance. The Mayans are still here a-hole. Native people aren't all dead. It's a shame because I enjoy Chris Pratt otherwise.

This is a perfect example of what a nice, down to earth, awesome guy Chris Pratt is. This Kevin guy won't let him talk, answers his own questions, spends the first 10 minutes talking about his own movie, CONSTANTLY interrupting, and Chris just sits there and behaves like a nice guy. Either that or he's acting. You know he's got to be irritated. And his sidekick, ugh. I'm sorry dude but who are you? Brad Pitt gave you the time of day and you had the nerve to ask who HE was??? I've never seen his face anywhere! I wonder if Chris's comment about douchey guys in Hollywood not getting work because of their attitudes was a hint to this dork.
@Carl_Frank
5 жыл бұрын
Sam's question to Pitt was sarcasm/irony. Instead of kissing Pitt's ass, he made a joke of it by feigning ignorance of who he is. Of course he knew who Pitt was, and of course Pitt knew that he knew. And of course Sam is WAY lower on the rung of fame than Pitt is, and knows it.That's why it was funny. I bet Pitt thought it was funny, just like when Pratt told him to get his feet off his f-ing coffee table.
