This video saved me and my Kranzle. I had changed the resin in my DI and accidentally got some into the outflow tubes. This then made its way into the Kranzle and I had complete pressure loss. Water flowed fine, but pressure wouldn't build at all. I first watched and followed the procedure in the "Complete Pressure Loss" video (removing and checking the unloader and bypass). Those components were clean so I started getting nervous. I then watched this video and dismantled the check valves. I did the suck test on all six, five were stuck open. I cleared them with compressed air and could see the resin on my fingers (it wasnt visible to the eye in the valves). After cleaning them (and the valve cavities), another suck test proved they were fixed. Put it all back together and the machine was back to normal operation. Thank you VERY much for this!

I have occasional pressure surge on startup. It usually corrects itself after a few seconds. Does this mean I need to replace check valves?

Could be. Just a cleaning might do the trick. Give Lee a call to help troubleshoot. 800.544.1188.
