I don't think hiphop culture tells anyone to do anything, hiphop is self expression of the individual portraying their own life. Which is fabricated. I don't think you should put the responsibility on hiphop culture as no one is taking responsibility to even explain that what some people talk about in their lyrics is fiction lol. It's exactly as krept explained about R&D, investors and as you mentioned companies going into floatation. Do you put the responsibility of that lack of knowledge on Gen Z/Y culture?

And I especially love that he allows his guests to speak completely. He’s invested in his guest’s story so asks the right questions at the right time. It feels very natural. So many podcasts you listen to it’s like they rush through the interview because they don’t really care for the guest, it’s just about selling something or growing their audience.

I’ve tried 3 TIMES to write this comment, but failed to really articulate the beauty of this episode. KREPT has continued to be such a source of inspiration throughout his career - more importantly the way he has handled challenges in life . In 2017 I nearly went into business with krept and konan they are great guys they really are what we had planned didn’t work back then unfortunately but unbelievable people who will do a lot for you… konan recognised me in the crowd at V festival then came and stage dived on top of me ! Krept even gave me some of his time whilst he was going through the madness of setting up the restaurant and doing their double project 7 days 7 nights… still gives me a lot of hope and motivation to work with artists to this day

Wow, what a journey. This touched me deeply. I've followed Krept & Konan's journey and then Cadets small journey for years. As a creative and small business owner from Croydon this touched me more than I ever expected it to. What a man. What awe-inspiring strength. The way Krept can articulate his experiences and manoeuvre life with all the hurdles life has thrown and keep pushing forwards is powerful. This has inspired me. Thank you brother and God bless. 🙏

Never heard of this guy, but a great story and some really important points. One that I loved, and haven’t heard before was “… behind every opportunity there is a cascade of dominoes. But you have to hit the first one hard enough for the others to fall.” (Paraphrased that a bit). I thought this was a fantastic point about over-delivering, whenever you can, and especially at the start of your career.
