I’ve had this bag going on 5 years now, and use it almost every day. It’s a great bag for riding. I sometimes pack it to the brim with heavy items, and it still feels comfortable on the bike. The base materials used are great, but in some areas, they can be improved - one example is the elastic parts on the straps. The waterproof interior pocket is great, but I don’t like how bulky the buckles for the hydration pack pocket are. I also think the way the excess straps go into the bag can be better. With the current design they sometimes cross each other inside and can be a bit annoying against my back. After 5 years of (very) heavy use, some stitchings had come off - 1 hole each on each strap (different areas), and 1 hole on the side of the front zipper. Still useable, but I think I might need to claim that warranty soon. If I were to buy a new bag altogether, I probably would still choose this model. It’s the perfect size for me, and the harness system is very practical.

What’s the best Kriega backpack for a women’s torso?

Kit for women is always the toughest as there's such a wide range of shapes. I know women riders who've been using the Kriega R25 for years and been very happy with it, and I see no reason why an R20 like this would be any less comfortable for a woman. Perhaps Kriega themselves would have more feedback and you could get in touch here... kriega.com/contact Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
