This lady demonstrates what is possible on the piano. Her technique is as close to perfection as any I have witnessed in a long life. Fabulously dexterous, yet completely relaxed. Amazing and inspirational. Islamay, Oscar Peterson, you name it, Kristina will play it as well as it can be played or even imagined. Bravo to the 10th power.

I found Kristina a month ago when I did a search for Oscar Peterson and classical. I found her "Back to Indiana" performance and was blown away. I'm just a budding piano student but I know greatness. I've been leaving KZitem comments here and there about this video. Maybe her KZitem fame will sky rocket some day like Domi and Cory Henry's. Today it's 13,146 views. If it skyrockets maybe I can say I helped.

@kristinamiller891
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you dear Emma! To be really honest, I never played scales or exercises (because I was always too inpatient for that...) Instead I took all Etudes from Chopin, Liszt etc. and played all books just through every day, first it was not easy at all, but than got used to it. I think we have so many scales etc. in the program, so no need really to practice them separately as we have them all the time in pieces. But people are all individual, I know some pianist, who swear on scales and exercises.We all need to find the best for us, sometimes not to listen to 'what others say' is the best advice:)))) Respect YOUR hands and try to find whats working the best way for you! All the best, take care!
