KROFNE S MASLOM - donuts
300 ml mlakog mlijeka
8 kocki šećera
30 g izmrvljenog svježeg kvasca ( može i vrećica instant kvasca)
- izmješati i ostaviti da se kvasac aktivira.
500 g oštrog brašna
Prstohvat soli
4 žumanjka
Naribana korica limuna
7 žl otopljenog maslaca
- zamjesiti tijesto i ostaviti da narasta pokriveno najmanje 1 sat.
Istresti na radnu površinu i valjati cca 2 cm debljine -
Pošećerite šećerom u prahu pomiješanim sa vanilinom.
Ja sam radila po “kuvaru” - a vi slobodno dodajte sljedeće sastojke:
1-2 vr vanilin šećera
Još limunove ili/i narančine korice
Čep ruma
Brašno ne mora biti isključivo oštro - može pola/pola

DONUTS WITH BUTTER 300 ml of lukewarm milk 8 sugar cubes 30 g of crushed fresh yeast (you can also use a bag of instant yeast) - mix and let the yeast activate. 500 g of sharp flour A pinch of salt 4 egg yolks Grated lemon zest 7 tablespoons of melted butter - knead the dough and let it rise covered for at least 1 hour. Spread out on the work surface and roll out approx. 2 cm thick - cut the donuts - and make maritozzi donuts from the rest (the detailed procedure is in the video) Leave covered for another half hour. Fry in heated oil with the bottom side facing up. Depending on the temperature of the oil, you will need 1.5 - 2 minutes for each side. Sweeten with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla. I worked according to the "cookbook" - and you feel free to add the following ingredients: 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar More lemon and/or orange zest A cork of rum The flour does not have to be exclusively sharp - it can be half/half or just smooth. The risen dough will definitely be nice...
