I put this song in my great grandpa's funeral video presentation. It's been my absolute favorite purely acoustic song for about 10 years and it seemed fitting. The different voices from the instruments allowed for seamless transitions in time of my grandpa's life. Truly a beautiful song. My only regret is I can't play three instruments at a time

Thanks, the Kruger Brothers will appreciate your comment. Jens plays the Banjo most of the time; but he is an awesome finger picking stylist on the guitar.

He’s such a master of the banjo that many don’t know how good he is on guitar.

Bryan, indeed it is. Very enjoyable. And a major thing it does is to demonstrate that Jens is also a master of the acoustical guitar (finger picking style), in addition to the banjo. I'd like him to produce a solo album playing nothing but a classical guitar.

You are right; and it reveals Jens' prowess on guitar as well as the banjo. Very smooth and eloquent! I'd like to hear a complete CD of guitar music by him. I wonder what songs he would pick?

Jan, you are so right! They are brilliant and with a style of music that is unlike anything you've ever heard. You might also like "WinterPort" also written by Jens. I think I have a KZitem with them playing it in a concert. Also, if you are unaware. they a concert with the Thayer Orchestra that is around an hour long. Go to youtube and look for my excerpt from that "Watches the Clouds Go By." There is a link on that song to take you to their full concert with the Thayer Symphony.
