Dear K.S.M., Sir, i honestly cant believe the number of Ghanaian's here leaving such negative comments about such a wonderful interview. This was really a surprise to me and a very big eye opener for me to the nature of our Ghanaian people. Nana Adwoa Awindor is somebody who has done a lot for the Ghanaian TV industry. She has raised a beautiful hard working daughter who is continuing her legacy in the industry by taking the name of our people to different parts of the planet and all i see is negative comments about her daughter Afia in the comments section. It seems those leaving the negative comments are oblivious to the fact that, the reason why prominent people from other nations are loved worldwide is because they have the full support of their people. The reason why everywhere you go on this planet a lot of people adore Jay Z and Beyonce and many of their "superstars" is because in america irrespective of the fact that there are a multitude of races all Americans love and support what is from America. A lot of these negative comments towards Afia is honestly borne of "ignorance" because the people making these negative comments have not yet understood the value of the benefits we Ghanaian's as a whole gain from the works of our prominent personalities. America does business with Europe more regularly because he knows Europeans believe, love and support Europeans and therefore he has more respect for Europeans. i take my time to write this out because it has just dawned on me what one of our fundamental problems are as a people. As a freeman who has traveled all continents except for Australia i have dealt with human beings of all nationalities and races from the pacific, Indian all the way to the Atlantic oceans and one thing that has become very clear to me is that, the most successful people are the united ones. Another thing that has impacted me the most is the numerous times people have chosen to be favorable to me because i come from the country of Ghana. an example is an American Native who's friendship with me grew based on the fact that he was a fan of the rapper Sarkodie. He has helped me several times in my times of need in Florida. There has been numerous occasions people have done good things for me in different parts of the world because they knew someone from Ghana or even Africa who left a favorable impression on them. I think we need to Educate our people more to stop unnecessary hate that is born out of jealousy. let us support each other because we all share in the benefits. Kindest regards, Kwaku

she speaks 2 languages. I do that all the time when I'm speaking Twi and my American accent take over. It's not trying. it's being bilingual and balancing 2 accents. Even White people and other blacks don't even think I am from Africa. Cause I don't have the "African accent". I speak both Twi and English soo good I can work for immigration office lol. My dad's friends always ask me can I speak Twi? And I reply yes. Then they test to see If I can "really really " speak or I'm just lying. As soon as I open my mouth they're face lit up and then they stop challenging me with words. I get that all the time. "You sound American" I was born here 3 generations. Family Ashanti lives both in Ghana and USA.
