This was the ballsiest thing I've ever seen. What I love about KT is how when she's setting up, despite the circumstances, she looks and acts like she's got every right to be there among the big names. And the hunger-- all she needed was one shot, and she took it.

This is what a musician looks like… First, there was silence, and a young woman who just had a guitar walked up. Turns out she has a whole choir, and that tambourine became a whole drum section. An 8-piece band!? including 3 different singers all singeing at the same time. ” The cut-off at the end was incredibly powerful. KT set an incredibly high bar, and almost every newcomer who appears on the scene on Jools has her as a benchmark. This was a pivotal moment, and I watched it when it went out live. We were all mesmerized. Just watched it 7 years later, and it was just as mesmerizing! 😊🎵🎸
