It shows Abdul loves his bike and is very caring of it , i love how straight forward he is with his thoughts on service center is . Few things though 1) the thing below is not a catalytic converter its called a resonance box , it's basically a muffler which reduces vibrations 2) Things on the tank are to direct air around the engine head to assist in cooling it. It's not for aerodynamics 3) Lubing the chain depends on the conditions were you drive in . In area with lot of dust it's is advisable to clean and lube every 300kms if not you can do it every 500 kms. 4) The thing the service guys change is a oil filter same with my classic 350, they change it for every 10k kms since the bike uses synthetic oil 5) Try changing the coolent to aid in the heating issue. 6) Try increasing the ride height by increase stiffness on the rear shocks but this will make you bike a bit bouncy. @GeekyRanjit - Waiting for your reply on my request to do a user review of my classic 350 reborn (2021) 😁

1st point , the resonance box as u said is correct bt its entry is fixed with a catalytic converter a small pipe with it as its inlet , direct exhasut cant be put into a resonnce box as it will melt , moreover its not a muffler aka silencer , its just a resonator to give u that scooter sound . the muffler is the "silencer" ( big round cylinder thing on the right side of rear tyre ) . so technically he is correct . 4th point , mineral oil or synthetic oil , gears mesh & leave metal residue & these are picked up by oil filter . so oil filter is replaced to remove a slight metal debri from the engine . 2nd point , the tank thing has 2 groves one for below to push air on engine head & one groove on top for adding downforce while riding higher speeds . so partial he & u are both correct bt have little bit more keen observation 6th point , ride height can also be adjusted by brining in biger sidewall tires first & than move to adjustment of suspension coz suspenion is adjustable bt tyres arent. moreover muffler in pure technical terms is a spark cum flame arrester from exhaust & it was addon for vehicles on the existing silencer . it was/ is a mandatory thing if u go into explosive industrial area like petroleum companies , ammuniation etc etc & this was started way back bt present day due to technological advancements there is no need for a muffler. bt still certain industrial zones ask for a muffler even these days . the word has become a cliche becoz of present day youtube & social media reach from various cultures & difference in english speaking countries.

The KTM Duke 250 is very sweet spot between the 200 and 390. In fact its the best in the Duke range. Its looks sharp, muscular just like a street fighter bike should. Then the performance from that brilliant 250 cc engine which is best engine in the KTM -Bajaj -husqvarna line up, smooth, refined. It goes smooth but at the same Time it goes mad like a KTM. The equipment levels are top class like slipper clutch,WP USD front forks, rear mono shock, wider tyre's, bigger breaks dual channel ABS with super moto mode . Even the handling exceptional and comfort is good to. Overall its a great package. The only few things which 250 Duke misses out is big LCD screen that seen on the adventure 250. The small screen has lot of info but, it's out dated for a 250 cc bike that cost 2.5 lakhs. Other wise its a sweet deal in the KTM Duke line up.

It does give the 30 km/l fuel consumption if you add higher octane fuel. The best fuel for this is the shell v-power high octane super unleaded petrol. Using this can guarantee give you more than 29 km/l. Also, maintaining approx. 5,000 rpm per gear shift can also help.

Here's a tip for duke 250/ 390 bs6 users with low ground clearance. The secret I've found is not to use your front brakes when you spot a speed breaker. Our front suspension is too soft and that's the main reason our bikes hit the breakers. Use rear brakes and you can easily cross speed breakers without a problem. Of course, cross them slow and steady. Once I learnt this, I've never hit any breakers even while carrying my overly healthy mom as pillion rider.

Hi , As my Brother owns same bike" I'm the one who uses it much ",I like to share my perspective on this bike done 12000kms on the bike I only give cons here Heating :yes I agree Ground Clearance :yes 1st day we had the knock on a speed breaker 👎 and the indicators they started to dry up and break on their own ,getting new one will probably costs you 575 INR millage giving around 30kmpl on highways 22-25 kmpl in the city owning feels :this is a big head turner big 👍 for that . Done 3 services same it costed on avg of 1300 to 1400 for me (services can be done by one year or 10000kms which comes first ).Got service done at Vijayawada (autonagar ) okay with their services . Chain should be lubed by 1000kms it sounds like hell if not done . Pillion on long drive 👎 they will continuously complain on butt ache my pillion has the pain for 2 days and now he is not going to be as a pillion anymore .
