ANSWER: For those coming down to the comments to guess what happened - A reed petal of my VRorce4R reeds basically exploded. The bike was running weird all day but I didn't even think about reeds. I guess it had been chipping during the day until it finally just kinda fell apart right before that jump. The reeds had about 30 hours on them and I didn't realize you need to replace these things so frequently... After replacing the reeds the bike is back to running normal 👍 I'll include a picture of the destroyed reeds in my next motovlog 😭

While it is considered normal maintenance to replace reeds, the stock KTM reeds are known to be junk. They recently switched from sourcing Vforce reeds to making them in house. Vforce reeds will last 10X longer and give you more power.

I believe the reason it’s cutting is cus you letting it engine brake, and that’s a big no-no on 2 strokes, cus when you let off the gas on a 2 stroke your also letting off the oil, and that can cause MAJOR engine issues

Not necessarily. The engine is still under vacuum when you engine brake, which is still going to draw fuel and oil through it.
