Welcome back to yet another exciting travel vlog, this time time I travel to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and visit this city for the first time! Step into the whirlwind of Kuala Lumpur with me and my partner in crime, my twin sister, as we dive headfirst into a 4-day escapade in this bustling metropolis! In this vlog we focus a bit more on activities for families with kids visiting Kuala Lumpur. So stay tuned!!
On day 4 we start our day off with a visit to the Aquarium, a magical underwater world filled with all sorts of colourful marine life and fascinating creatures. Whether you're admiring graceful sharks, turtles or squid, this place will leave you in awe because of its 90 meter long tunnel. The second longest aquarium tunnel in the world!
Next up was the Berjaya Time Square Theme Park:
Calling all thrill-seekers! From heart-pounding rides to interactive attractions, this amusement park has it all. Whether you're a daredevil looking for the next big thrill or just a kid at heart craving some nostalgic fun, Berjaya Time Square Theme Park is the place to be. So buckle up and get ready for the ride of a lifetime! This place will be a guaranteed hit with your kids. They can play around for hours and not get bored!
I you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city? Go for a leisurely stroll through KLCC Park! Nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, this urban oasis is the perfect escape. Whether you're lounging by the serene lake, admiring the towering trees, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment of solitude, KLCC Park has something for everyone. Plus at night you can enjoy the Lake Symphony show at the fountain in this park with the Petronas Towers in the back.
To celebrate our last night in Kuala Lumpur we raised a glass as we watched the sun set over Kuala Lumpur from the hotel poolside. With the city skyline as our backdrop and a refreshing drink in hand, this is the perfect way to unwind and soak in the beauty of the city. Whether you're sipping on a cocktail, enjoying a mocktail, or just taking in the sights and sounds below, this rooftop oasis is sure to be a highlight of your trip.
At night I went to check out the River of Life show at the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur! As night falls, the historic mosque comes alive with a bright display of smoke and blue light, creating an enchanting atmosphere along the riverbank. It was nice to see, but it didn't live up to the hype that the world wide web talked about.
Up next I strolled over to the Petaling Night Market to try some street food. Unfortunately this also turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. The stands were very spread out and they weren't many to begin with. But, maybe for you it will be a totally different experience :).
Last but not least, I had to go see the Batu Caves. Tucked away within towering limestone cliffs, this sacred Hindu site offers breathtaking views and intricate shrines. Whether you're seeking spiritual enlightenment or simply marveling at the natural wonders of the caves, this is an experience that will leave a lasting impression. So lace up your hiking boots and let's embark on an unforgettable adventure to the heart of Kuala Lumpur's cultural heritage!"
