This channel still remains one of my favorites because they cover so many unique animals. And because of the nature of smaller channels, you actually can interact with your favorite creators. It feels less like a corporation and more like watching your friends making content. :)

:) I still can’t wait to see what you cook up for the Hercules beetle. And i’d die for a beetle only playlist, seeing as they make up around 21% of all known animal species, id say its fair. But im a little biased. :)

0:47, actually, there are five extant genera of spiral-horned antelope, which constitute the tribe Tragelaphini within the subfamily Bovinae, the five extant genera of spiral-horned antelope are Tragelaphus (Bushbucks), Bongo (Bongo and Sitatunga), Nyala (Nyalas), Strepsiceros (Kudus), and Taurotragus (Elands), they are also further divided into two subtribes: Tragelaphina (Lesser Spiral-Horned Antelope) with four extant species under two genera being the Northern Bushbuck (Tragelaphus scriptus), the Southern Bushbuck (Tragelaphus sylvaticus), the Sitatunga (Bongo spekii), and the Bongo (Bongo eurycerus) and Taurotragina (Greater Spiral-Horned Antelope) with six extant species under three genera being the Lowland Nyala (Nyala angasii), the Mountain Nyala (Nyala buxtoni), the Lesser Kudu (Strepsiceros imberbis), the Greater Kudu (Strepsiceros strepsiceros), the Common Eland (Taurotragus oryx), and the Giant Eland (Taurotragus derbianus), based on this kudus (genus Strepsiceros) and nyalas (genus Nyala) are both more closely related to elands (genus Taurotragus) than to the bushbucks or the bongo and sitatunga, with the kudus being the closest to the elands while the nyalas are basal to both.

@MicrowavePizza9, you should know that there are now 72 extant genera of bovids, so this the bovid taxonomy as officially recognized:

You got the scientific names of the lesser kudu and greater kudu completely wrong, their correct scientific names are actually Strepsiceros imberbis and Strepsiceros strepsiceros respectively.

How do you think a Kudu feels when you call him a "Lesser" Kudu. These Lesser Kudus deserve kudos for tolerating such prejudice.
