Hulguste valss. Õpisin laulma 75 aastat tagasi Pärnus, Eestis. I sang it when I was 7 years old in Pärnu Estonis. I believe there is a movie with the same title. Ago

Yes, there is - the melody is Swedish but the film made it immensely popular in Finland - with Ansa Ikonen ja Tauno Palo. And the revolutionary message - that love is more important than money and that the tramp won the lady... kzitem.info/news/bejne/0o2VtXyBmJSelaQ

Hi, I like this music and you play it so incredibly well. Thank you for your music. I wanted to ask you where I can buy this composition and / or who is the publisher of it?

The first piano arrangement of this song was published in 1919, Uuno Aarto being the arranger. I have that on my channel: kzitem.info/news/bejne/zYSv251ojIximZg . The publisher was "AUG. KANERVA · LAHTI" (which means August Kanerva in the city of Lahti). However, the part that can be heard in this video on 1:16 - 1:49 (and then later after 2:23 until the end of the video) is not on that sheet. That part still dates at least back to 1937, as it appears at the end of this song: kzitem.info/news/bejne/rZiLz356n4iFf3Y which is, as of now at the time I'm posting this comment, the oldest piece of media including that melody that I'm aware of. The earliest published sheet music of "Kulkurin valssi" is from 1916, though I don't have a copy of that. J. Alfred Tanner's song "Joululaulu" ( www.doria.fi/handle/10024/72273 ) has the same melody in the chorus as Kulkurin valssi, but a different one in the verse.
