Wonderful project! I have been searching for an alternative to a beaded lariat, and this is it! Thank you!

I hope people will have fun making lanyards to match their cloth face masks! When the mask has been used it is easy to remove it and replace it with a clean one.

Hi, i have just discovered your channel and you have inspired me to have a go! I have a question,i'm making a memorial bracelet from horse hair,i already have my end caps as they are a specific design, they are 6mm inside measurement.so i need my finished braid to be 5mm.how do i know what thickness of hair to use to achieve this? If i twist a section of hair then measure it will this be accurate when the braid is finished or will the braiding process bulk it up? I hope that makes sense, thanks x

I have never worked with horsehair, so I can only guess that it is quite springy to work with and so I would expect it to work up slightly wider than the diameter of twisted strands of horsehair. Sorry I can’t give you a better answer.

@@prumcrae2779 thank you so much for replying, I've had a go and you're right, because of its springy nature the weave is looser and has gaps where cord wouldn't, it's very pretty xx
