@@RefeelYoga I've had seven surgeries for fusions two emergency surgeries a partially paralyzed leg and foot a battle with opiates because of all the pills I've been on and a lot of health issues not to mention a past in the military and with an abusive father that left a lot of holdings and problems constantly going to chiropractors constantly trying to heal my spine. And now I'm realizing that my spine doesn't have any problems I have energy blocks and holdings and deep patterns in my body I've never been able to get rid of because I wasn't aware enough. And doing this work is having me go into my body and I'm beginning to watch and be aware of as I'm going through the day how I close and how my patterns are and how I breathe. I literally have no idea I was that asleep. So this is digging into my body mind like nothing else. I'm really grateful. I'm beginning to come out of physical and mental pain and it's a new way of being.

@@potoole It's really incredible to hear this. I'm so grateful to you for taking the time to go through this healing process. It's so rewarding when you start to have these realizations and, even though it can completely turn your world upside down, awakening is the greatest gift you can give to yourself. 💝 I would highly recommend you to check out the second level of our Journey Through the Chakras: Transformation - it should be released sometime within the next month or so. It would be such huge gift to give yourself, as we explore the whole realm of the Chakras at the emotional level; healing trauma, childhood wounds, doing "shadow work" practices for releasing stuck energy and emotions. It's a very powerful program for healing and I'm certain it would be a big benefit for you and the path you are currently on.

this practice is so amazing. I dont have much experience with Kundalini yoga yet. But after a few "exercises" I felt dizzy. Is it normal? After the dizziness I took deep breathes and then it was ok and I could go on. It was weird but I also kind liked it..this dizziness and it feels warm. Can this practise influence my hormone system in a good way? and is it ok to do a cardio-workout afterwards? Thanks for your videos! You are a very symphatic guy, I love how you speak. Thanks for your channel :)

Thank you so much! I am very happy to hear you are enjoying the practice. Keep up the great work! This dizziness you are experiencing is very common, especially in the beginning as your body is getting used to the practices and the extra energy. It will go away at some point, so try to not be too attached to it if you're finding it pleasant. There will come more subtle, but deeper, sensations as you progress. These practices can definitely influence and balance your hormonal system, nervous system, digestive and cardiovascular systems, in a great way. This is the beauty of this type of practice! It's really working on every level; the physical, energetic, emotional, mental and beyond. If you're enjoying it, keep at it my friend. I wish you many transformational experiences on your path. Thank you for your questions. Feel free to reach out whenever you have more. 🙏💖 -Andrew

Hi Andrew, lovely series, just started a few days ago and done a few of the series...still a bit away from awakening the Chakra. Wanted to know if you could have something which helps a rejuvenation post a hangover....yes I do have a few too many a couple of times a week and those days I don't feel like doing anything the next morning, something for us undisciplined people
@RefeelYoga
3 жыл бұрын
Hello Ashish, Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this class :) As for your question, it's highly discouraged to mix Kundalini practice with any type of drug use. We are working very strongly with the nervous system and having any sort of psychoactive substances or impurities in the body can result in unwanted negative results. What I would recommend, for your own safety, is to plan your practice for days when you are not consuming or enduring a hangover. These days when you are experiencing withdrawal it is most important to rest and allow your body to re-regulate itself. Drink plenty of water, eat light, clean, nourishing foods and allow your system the time to come back to normal before to attempt to tax your nervous system in another way. If you want you can do light practices, such as Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, the pawanamukstasana series, or other warm ups and stretching. But do not attempt Kundalini practices if you are not in a good condition. Best thing to do is meditation. Bring awareness to moment. Feel the effects of the hangover fully. Not only will this help you to heal and recover faster, in the long run it will allow your subconscious to realize the affects of consumption - and this is how you will develop discipline 💕

@RefeelYoga

Yes, it is a very common experience to shake after this class. Take some extra time in meditation or savasana to allow the energy to settle. If you feel too ungrounded you can eat, take a shower, walk barefoot outside or get someone to massage your feet. These will bring the energy back down. If you feel well though, stay high and meditate 😉💞

I'm gonna start with When I first started my practice my root and sacral chakra were very Vigorous I did a lot of kundalini yoga while dancing at my job as a sign spinner, I would feel a burning vigorous passionate magnetic fire at the base of my being. When doing breathing excersizes I would feel powerful orgasmic energy when working with the mulabandha but the last yearish(now working at an organic market) I feel no orgasmic energy when working with mulabandha and im not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I broke something. Breathing would bring me into ecstatic Tears and now I feel the fire has been put out. Whats going on with me? Any powerful intuitives out there that are familiar with kundalini that can point me in the right direction Calling in a knowledgeable Soul.
@RefeelYoga

What you are experiencing is very normal along this path. Usually when we first begin with a practice the effect it has and the changes that are taking place are very gross. This makes them much more noticeable. But as we progress with any practice eventually those gross effects subside, as we start to experience more and more subtle changes. Let's take the very acute example of doing a forward fold first thing in the morning vs later in the afternoon. The first stretch in the morning is very intense and you need to be aware of every muscle, every breath. Whereas after walking and being active all day, the same stretch in the evening may be hardly noticable. Likely you will go much deeper, with greater ease. Even though it doesn't seem as intense you are still getting many benefits! And in this way maybe you will be able to become aware of more sublte qualities of the stretch, such as the subtle flow of energy through the legs, slight emotion, thoughts, or memories that are arising, etc. This same experience happens with all of our practices, eventually. So in the beginning when we are developing our nervous system with Kundalini practices the effects are very intense, as even the slightest stimulation cause a big physical response. But as we train, open and purify our energy channels the body becomes able to handle this energy and is no longer experiencing such intense stimulation from the same practices. Does this mean that we should do more and more intense practice to continue experiencing these ecstatic sensations? No. These feelings in the beginning are great as they inspire a lot of motivation and aspiration for the practice. Come on! If you're feeling orgasms from yoga, you do more yoga! 😅 But later, when these intense feelings subside, this also serves a great purpose. This is where we get a big test of non-attachment. Where we get to face the needy, craving, validation seeking small self inside. It's a tough one! Suddenly there can come many doubts, "maybe the practice isn't working anymore", "maybe I've lost it!", "I'm not a good yogi", "I need a new teacher/technique/system..", etc. This is a phase that we need to go through. You could call it a test of faith. You could call it the Kundalini burning your karma. But for the same reason we started yoga, if we continue to practice just for the practice, eventually we come to the next phase where there are more noticable shifts happening again. Maybe not the same, but noticeable 😉 I hope the helps bring some clarity. Remember, there is no such thing as a bad practice. Pleasant or unpleasant, gross and intense or subtle and hardly noticable, every action is an investment 🙏🏼💖

Hello Rakan! You are correct. Applying Mulabhanda during an exhalation is very powerful. In fact much more so than during an inhalation. For this reason we generally teach to do it with the breath held in, because with the breath held out it is a more advanced practice. I love more advanced practices! Awesome Dakota! I'm so glad to know how much you are enjoying this practice. It's definitely one of my favorites as well 💝 With regards to the Frogs, they are a very challenging practice that can take time to build up. For now, going more slowly is perfect. Do as many as you can and then rest. There's no need to achieve 26, if it's going to hurt you. In time, your legs and cardio vascular system will get much stronger. Then you can go faster, do more repetitions, and you will see an overall improvement in your stamina. Remember the general rule, always stay comfortable and steady in the practice 💝

Hi Andrew, 🙋 during this class I had this thougt: When you restart again😘 those short clips about philosophy etc, perhaps you can explain, what these 10 bodies are. 💚What do you think? See you, Sonja
@RefeelYoga
4 жыл бұрын
Hey Sonja, Originally when I recorded this video I did introduce each of them... But honestly, I didn't do a teacher training under Yogi Bhajan so I don't really have a solid understanding of his system of the Chakras and Bodies. So I didn't feel right to leave it in. I prefer to teach what I feel confident that I 'know' because I have personally experienced it. Hope this makes sense! Sincerely, Andrew 🙏🏼

Everything is fine Andrew! 😘Funny, that initally you had this idea. Perhaps, I catched your primary thougts of your first video 😏. I agree and understand perfectly that you have left those parts out by noticing that you felt unconfortable with them. 💓 That is where we want to go, 💞 doing and thinking what feels right for oneself🙂. Clelia would say: Good job!💕 💞

Thanks Suzanne! I'm glad you enjoyed :) At the time of filming this class I was apprehensive of including too many mantra in our videos. Were I to record it again now I would most likely include the full meditation.

Having practiced and taught Kundalini yoga on and off for 30 years...I enjoyed a few variations you had that were not familiar to me: The arms overhead with wrists coming together. I appreciate your reminders of what each kriya is doing for us. Fell into a particularly deep meditation afterwards...mmmm Namaste and Sat Nam. xox Jot Kaur SnowFlower
