Kharda is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe. This is a fantastic side dish. There is a little different in thecha and kharda. Roasted peanuts are added in this kharda recipe. Do try this simple yet yummy recipe and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp Oil
• 15 Green chilis / 1/4 cup chopped Green chili
• Finely chopped Garlic
• Roasted peanut powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add green chlii and fry for about 3-4 minutes.
• When chili begins to gets little white spots turn off the gas and
add garlic.
• Mix well and keep it covered for about 5 minutes.
• Either transfer everything into a blender jar and blend roughly.
• Or mash it with an earthen pot. You can use masher too.
• When everything is mashed well, mirachicha thecha is ready.
• Thecha remains good in freeze for about 4-5 days.
• Turn on the gas again and add peanut powder.
• Blend roasted peanuts roughly in blender or blend them in mortar
and pestle.
• You can decide the quantity of peanuts to be added.
• Add salt and mix well.
• Fry everything well in the pan on low heat until it becomes
khamang and kharpus or for about 7-8 minutes.
• The more you remove the moisture from kharda the longer it will
remain good.
• Turn off the gas and kharda is all ready.
• This is a perfect side dish.
