They don't realize two grown men could have differences of opinion or perspective and still be good. Whitlock came from a different background to Kwame, so he viewed Iverson as everything that was wrong about the way young black men were portrayed. Kwame on the other hand is from a different generation and grew up around a lot of crazy shit. That is why he used the example of guys who wanted to go into a life of crime, but saw Iverson as an inspiration cause he looked, talked and carried himself like them. If Kwame Brown would've went 44th in the draft Like Brian Cardinal NO ONE would've Knew his Name, his criticism had ZERO to do with him being Black and was 100% about him being #1 overall pick that performed at times like Brian Cardinal. Players are criticized on salary and performance, Cardinal made 400 grand in his first year, he was an established college player expected to be nothing more than a defensive specialist/utility guy. Brown was the NUMBER 1 OVERALL Pick making 5 million out of High School and was expected to transform the franchise. The NBA is ONLY 6% WHITE Americans (1/3 of those are rookies). Gordan Haywood and Kevin Love (probably the 2 Highest paid whites ) are criticized all the team and the other Whites are subs and young guys that will be out of the league after their Rookie contract expired.

Darko got the same treatment as Kwame. Except he wasn’t burdened with MJ breathing down his neck. He was still berated daily for being a bust especially after a few years of sitting on the bench.

Jason, my man, I must say that I didn't know too much about you until now. This is my first time watching your show and I'm subscribed instantly. I can't tell you how thankful I am for you standing up for us men. What has been happening to our society is sad and pathetic. Our culture has become WEAK and fragile. Brother you have my support full throttle . You my kinda people. Fearless baby.

Mid 80's, junior high, I missed the front end of a one/one to tie the game. We lost. I cried coming off the court. My mom and Dad grabbed me quickly. My mom slapped my face.

White folks are able to set aside their differences and work together for the benefit of while folks and so should we! As a team we can accomplish much more than an individual person. Until we learn to humble ourselves and put our differences aside for the greater good of each other nothing will change!

Props to Kwame but Whitlock is a POS. He has done more to done more to damage black athletes reputations then any other sports journalist ever. He is, and will always be a boot licking sellout to his race.
