1. Diet: You are what you eat. 2. Kill A.N.Ts: Eliminate automatic negative thoughts. Your brain is similar to a supercomputer. Whatever negative thoughts you tell yourself, will "run". Fight for your limitations to keep them. 3. Exercise: As your body moves, your brain grooves. 4. Nutrients: Consume nutrients even if it comes from supplements. 5. Positive peer group: Who you spent time with is who you become. 6. Clean environment: A clean environment inspires you to be focus. 7. Sleep: Sleep is important. 8. Brain protections: Your brain is an extremely powerful computer but fragile; therefore, avoid sports and wear a helmet. 9. New learning: Nutrients and novelty. You have to feed and grow your brain. 10. Stress management: High levels of stress is useful when you're in a fight or flight mode, but it's not helpful when you're learning. Some of the things that help us the most are common sense but they're not common practice.

10 Keys to Unlock Optimal Brain Health 1. A good diet "You are what you eat" 2. Avoid automatic negative thoughts "Your brain is a supercomputer, your self-talk is a program and it will run" >>> Every should have a to-do list and to-learn list 3. Exercise "As your body moves, your brain grooves" People do exercise are more likely to do better on acuity tests, focus tests, and memory tests. Exercise helps feed your brain oxygen and blood flow. 5. Brain nutrients 5. A good positive peer group Your brain does not reserve to biological networks, neurological networks but also social networks. "Proximity is power, who you spend time with is who you become"_Tonny Robbins You are the average of 5 people that you spend time with most. 6. A clean environment Your external world is the reflection of your internal 7. Sleep If you want to have a better memory, better focus, make better decisions, be a clearer thinker...you need to sleep. When you're sleeping and resting. You're regenerating and recuperating. 8.Brain protection If you don't want to get a concussion, you want to wear a helmet. Your brain is very resilient, but it's also very fragile 9. New learnings Be a life-long learner. 10. Stress management In the digital age. We tend to outsource our brains to smart devices. It's easier to get dementia...

Hi Jim Out of all KZitem land your the only one I ever connect with in listening to. I never had a brain injury that I know of. But all my school years I was told I had a learning disability. I would read a page of a book , And if a question was asked Of what I read l could not tell you. 42 years of age I went back to school to become electrician. When reading something ,music would pop into my head, this would distract me in so many ways. To a point I wanted to pull my hair out. I remember one day the instructor wrote a math question on the white board and the class solved it together. When it came time to do that question my mind was completely blank. I failed. My block exam I didn’t pass either . Not that I was stressed because I knew how to be calm but my mind was totally blank. This really concerned my instructor. They thought I didn’t care. It was then I explain I struggled all the time. I knew in my heart I can do this I’ve even gone to counseling . I’m now 47 , listing to you and your story is giving me a glimpse I can do this and I trying to read more by I still have this problem of music in my head 24 /7 even if it’s not there the second I try to read a page it’s like I arguing with my mind and try to focus on the words . HELP!!! I really wish I could talk to you . This is just a small part Thank you. Murray
