Nippy is the real big phenomenon compared to everything that has happened in music and in the way of interpreting... a pioneer, the one who invented a new way of singing... modulation, the color of his voice, the rhythmic timing,.. The point is that were she a young artist today, she had a timeless talent that still would have been successful. A stark contrast to the many singers today who deliver style over substance.

Mr Johnson her voice was not tiny she was abusing her voice drinking and smoking, she wanted to get help but it was too late. Whitney still had a better voice then anyone out there when she rested it and took care of it. Look at her performance on BET gospel Celebration a year before her passing with Kim Burrell, she slayed it like no lyp sync like the other chic we won’t name! Whitney was the real deal!!

Alan Matković this is a 1989 recording when Whitney was arguably at her vocal peak. There’s no loss of voice here unless your hearing something I’m not.

I do hope to hear this on the radio this week and beyond. Too bad they didn't included this on I Look To You; it would have been one of many highlights.

I think the first song to really elevate a legendary artist who passed was 2002 Junkie XL version of Elvis with Little Less Conversation. This is that level of classic.

Awwwww! This will forever be my grandad’s song. He always used to sing this whenever it came on Heart, when he was driving me and my sister to school. I’ll miss you grandad! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭. Plus, it’ll be one year on the 24th February since I lost him. 😭😭❤️❤️
