It was a good day on the KYLE!
Friday night, on my way to Denver, I spent the night in Colby. With some time to kill on my way west, I was happy to take a bit of a detour to the east to shoot not just one, but TWO trains on the move on the KYLE.
I'm rarely out this way, and while the sunlight wasn't stellar for either the east or westbound, it was at least passable, and I've never been able to shoot a pair of trains on this line in a single day.
The BN ALCOs may be gone, along with the SP-painted tunnel motors, but this is still a great railroad to photograph, complete with friendly crews, to boot.
