Verry nice. I met Shihan in Japan many years before. I train Kyokushin for a long time and Shihan Quinn's name come up all the time as great man and great sensei. His students are verry great. This is great drills so thank you! Ossu.

Back in 89 I went to a two day seminar with Dan Inosanto, Larry Hartsell, and Master Chai, Shihan Quinn and his students were there, Karate is not my style, but I have to tell you they can hit hard and they can kick your head off your shoulders, polite, well mannered, but tough as nails, good guys to have on your side.

OSU! Ever notice how so many of us, when talking about kicks or punches and showing them, say things like "boom" when we hit? Haha! Good to see Shihan Quinn on a new video, teaching. :} OSU!

Mr O'Reilly, did you do other training with him? How was his movement other than this drill? Looks like one of those old guys you see in a gym that you dismiss because he is older then he kicks you and you think, "oh damn, that was heavy."

conditioning is really important and good, for a muay thai or kick boxer learn how to kick inside kicking without leg pivot than with leg pivot and than with full turn and going on with the kick from inside also all these are easy for a muay thai amateur to learn and improve his ability getting 2nd orange belt or blue will be very helpful to survive a fight.

shihan quinn travels and trains all over the world, part of the reason he is such a great coach and person, he trains in many different styles of martial arts and is well respected by many top level martial artists/muai thai/mma personalities, chances are he is their to train, not fly in to make a video...

This is exactly what happened. We were all there to learn and train. Occasionally, we are able to share some of our experiences with our subscribers. And on this day, Shihan Quinn was kind enough to share his valuable time with us and our viewers.

This is what I love about your channel. Your humility in looking anywhere & everywhere for what is relevant & useful is a commendable habit & tool in your journey in becoming a complete martial artist. And the best part for me is that you drop these pearls in my path. I will be adding these drills immediately to the combatives course I teach. This looks to be an excellent way to advance a beginner to an intermediate kicking level on the path to becoming a competent street fighter.

that's great and all but you don't need to bring in a master from Australia to show how to do leg conditioning drills. What a waste.
