Ingredients :
Black eyed peas (Lobia), 1 cup,soaked in water for 3 hours
Water for cooking Lobia 2 cups
Salt 1 teaspoon
Oil 2 Service spoons
Cumin seeds (Jeera) 1 teaspoon
Green cardamom (Green Elaichi) 2
Black cardamom (Elaichi black)1
Cloves (Laung)3-4
Cinnamon stick (Dalchini)1 pc
Bay leaf (Tej Patta) 1
Green Chili Pepper, chopped 2
Onion, Chopped 1 medium
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tablespoon
Onion paste 1 tablespoon
Tomato Puree ½ cup (2 small tomato)
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Fresh coriander leaves, to garnish
Spices for Masala mix:
Curd beaten 100 gm.
Turmeric (Haldi) powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon, adjust to taste
Coriander powder (Dhaniya powder) 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder(Jeera )1/2 teaspoon
Saunf powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste, ½ teaspoon
