I really appreciate how clearly you had explained each and every line in the transcript (also how you carefully put subtitles in your videos). For beginning learners, this translative repetition could be contextually super helpful with learning English. Still, I personally struggle(d) a lot on whether to teach students English with my use of their mother tongue because sometimes they got too stuck into that "mother-tongue" mode to understand a text/convo in English. Humm. I am still adjusting to reach a balance between my frequency in using mother-tongue and letting them slowly listen and comprehend English as it is. Anyway, you have your filming style: Keep up with the good work :)

Thank you so much Chicco! I really appreciate it! So I take it that you're an English teacher too? While I film all these videos where I do my commentary in Cantonese, I don't think learners can simply rely on these resources as the only teaching materials they use! They need to incorporate different sorts of videos and other materials into their 'learning' / 'exposure' diet. That's for sure! Probably one day will arrive when I will finally do these celebrity English videos again in English! That will probably help! There are videos on my channel where I speak in English and talk about different things too! Hopefully they could help as well ;) (Ah, and also, I speak in English 99.99% of the time on my podcast ;) ) The link is here: www.listennotes.com/podcasts/learning-english-with-tiffany-learning-1gtxmjBFSw4/ Look forward to making even more videos for you guys!

@@TiffanyTeachesEnglish Interesting sites that you are using :D Yes, I am an ESL teacher too (though not at the mean time but in general yes) so the media and methods you use are particularly fascinating to me :) Keep the fire burning😆😆😆

Aaand after listening to a few podcasts of yours, I do see quite some similarities between our teaching philosophies XD Just that you are more keen on sharpening up your language skills and I often take the 'go with the contextual flow' attitude on our ways of teaching and learning :p Still, I enjoy listening to your stories a looot. Thanks ;)

@@chiccoleung4503 Yayyyyyy!!! Thank you and let's keep going and the fire burning!
前面講stay通常會講stay in the mind,等於意思係stay in the head / stay in the brain 但如果講掛著一個人通常會講 you’re always on my mind There’s an idea that’s been on my mind for some time (我有一個idea想了一段時間) 其實兩個用法裡面mind都係指腦袋,只不過前後字唔同會令到使用嘅字唔同,都係關順唔順口字,呢度應該冇咩邏輯可言。
我覺得你講英文好清楚, 唔錯呀 😆👍 Keep up the good work Tiffany 🙏

Without knowing the teacher's background I am assuming she was not born as a native English speaker. There must be a lot of hard work involved to achieve her level of English proficiency. More than qualified as an English teacher! This channel is not a beauty contest.
