When Lin gets hot, the whole team gets hot and resulted in Franky Tank's courageous solo plays.. Today Hornets swallow up the Heat... Well done!! I reckon Marvin William deserved credits for rebounding because he has really good hops. As usual, Lin bullied Dragic again. Hopefully momentum will continue onto next game!!

When Lin is given a more important role (not just standing in the corner as if he were being naughty)......this would be an average game for him. Michael Jordan probably did not mean it at the start of the season when he said Jeremy Lin was the most important acquisition but the fact is Jeremy Lin is the most important acquisition to this team.

And a more important role. He should be one of the primary facilitators. Heck he should be the primary facilitator. Whether he is playing point guard or two guard not Walker and not Batum. sorry, no disrespect to them but they are not in Jeremy Lin's league when it comes to being a floor general.

I thought Courtney should have 10 too, because one of his floater(?) was blocked I think after the ball reached the peak, and started going downward. If that was called, there would be 7 players on the Hornets who scored double digits in game 3.

+JH7 The only flaw to that logic is that Kemba came back in and played. I'm not sure what Clifford's trying to do, but I guess he's being nervous. Lin misses a couple of easy shots and he gets yanked.

Jeremy Lin says he wants to stay in Charlotte for next season because he had the most fun there. What fun is he talking about? He was sitting on the bench on game 7 against Miami, because the coach felt obligated to stick with the starters even though Charlotte was already down by 30. The coach said that they are not in there to win just one game. Well, the coach saw how Jeremy Lin bailed this team on games 3 and 4, yet the coach did not trust Jeremy Lin to bail them out on game 7. That tells me Charlotte is not committed to winning. I am assuming Jeremy Lin is committed to winning, otherwise, he would not have bailed this team many times during the regular season. Now the Charlotte organization is saying that re-signing Nic Batum is more important than re-signing Jeremy Lin. And Jeremy Lin wants to stay there, WHY? Is Nic Batum a better offensive player? Last I check, Jeremy Lin came after LeBron James in drives to the basket, and he is not even a starter. Is Nic Batum even in the top 10 on the number of drives to the basket? And Jeremy Lin is a better point guard than Kemba Walker. Go find another team that is committed to winning and respects your skills.

Its unfortunate, that time and time again...especially this season, that Lin continues to get marginalized by his own coach. I mean... you got security guards still checking his id, you got referees and the NBA that still think Lin isnt be biased against....how many times does lin have to take over a game for his own coach, let alone anyone else not a Lin fan to see how good lin is? Not including this performance....this season, lin has only ran the offense (in terms of taking 12 or more shots with 28+minutes of game play) 5 times this season. 1 was with a kemba injury and 1 was with a batum injury (no coincidence that batum was injured again for this miami game, allowing Lin to be one of the primary scorers and playmakers). Lin is 4-1 as the primary playmaker this season. Averaging over 20 points, 5 assists and shooting well over 50% from the field. The teams he beat? Cavs (no kemba), Toronto (no batum), Boston, and San Antonio. It shouldnt take an injury or a poor performance from kemba or batum to unleash lin. Yet, thats what it takes for clifford to actually trust lin. The results? Finally a playoff win for charlotte...and its not just lin's offense. Dragic struggles vs Lin, and he is forced to guard wade when Kemba is on the floor with lin (due to kemba's height). Would like to see kemba off the bench, just like i suggested james harden come off the bench back in houston.
With Lin, Hornets were in playof, without Lin, Hornets could never be in playoffs.

@richiejay661
8 жыл бұрын
+Wang Kevin Not necessarily.....i mean, the previous 2 games, the matchup didnt really do much. Lin is the biggest difference maker and shouldnt be on the bench. Courtney lee is not a difference maker but a complimentary piece. Its those kind of lazy reasoning by a coach like clifford to why the heat is up 2-1. If it wasnt for batum's injury, i can almost bet that Hornets will be down 0-3. Lin has been the main difference maker against playoff caliber teams all season: Win vs Cavs (no kemba), Win vs Toronto (no batum).....(not to mention courtney lee wasnt even on the team yet for those two wins. The reason lin isnt starting for the hornets is because Steve Clifford is ignorant and doing his best kevin mchale impersonation. To clifford's credit, he did tell Lin he would come off the bench when Lin signed. I just figured this coach would finally see the light...but by starting Kaminsky (going with a big lineup, moving lee to the 2, and williams to the 3) it just shows, again and again, that lin doesnt get any respect in the NBA
