Manual transmission breaks down too, may be cheaper to repair in comparison to automatic though. Another thing is automatic these days usually give you better fuel economy. For "電腦估錯數", I suppose you mean maintenance minder? For that it applies to both manual and automatic... Each manufacturer approach maintenance minder in a different way, some car (e.g. my 2016 Lexus ES), remind to service every 5000 miles on the dot, and basically oil change every 10000 miles (16000km), while my Honda/ Acura will give me different oil change interval every single time, from 6000 miles to 7000 miles, they take into account idle time, cold start number, fuel consumption.... My point is while I do enjoy driving manual transmission car, I don't think manual is necessarily better than automatic, you gain some and you loss some, really depends on what you want/ prefer
@@garykong7597 Regularly I would say, the clutch bearing is the first to go. Racing clutch has about half the life of an ordinary clutch Over center dual plate is the worst!

@@CA18DETHK oh壞i mean係嚴重到要re build 個d.. sor for not clear my dad's last Jazz's CVT had issues and caused serious fuel consumption problems and unsmooth throttle.. chance of major failures on (cheaper) automatics are just way higher than traditional manual.. CVT, VAG DCT... quite often to hear them break down and need full swap

龍sir提到練左拖波補油,練左一年,除左一般降波補油情況,如果係開快車既情況下跟趾動作都係必需既, 我係台灣渣舊款既Corolla Altis 1.8 ZZE121,波棍排列係P R N D 3 2 L 4AT波箱每一波段既齒比差別好大,係山路入灣落重brake既時侯例如,80Km左右既時侯手動3轉2/髮夾灣既2轉1個陣跟趾補油一下部車真係會平穩好多 多謝龍sir教學

其實原裝比得auto start stop你 證明架車其實已經有相應嘅對策降低消耗 所以可以放心開

It looks like there is a hot debate about life-time fluid in sealed CVT unit. How often do you recommend we changing the fluid? I personally don't believe it could last "life-time".

這個話題已爭拗了一段時間,現時的波箱油都是合成的,所以不叫oil面叫fluid,無疑比已往耐用,但它還是會變質老化的,所謂life Time 是個含糊的概念,據統計在美國一輛車平均使用12年,但通常買新車的消費者6年左右會換車,這6年內回廠保養,廠不建議你換波箱油,就這樣一直開6年十多萬公里這輛車是不會死的,這對車廠而言 已兌現了life time的承諾,但接手的可能要換filter等大保養。在日本,新車車主到第三年要面對一個嚴格的車檢,然後每兩年一次,這時他們都會考慮換車還是花錢保養,如果選擇三到五年換車的同樣可以不理會波箱油。
My Toyota Picnic ATF gearbox completely flush out old ATF fuild, clean the bottom tray and change the filter recently. However the technician in the garage uses Toyota ATF WS = JAS 3324 (not specified by Toyota) instead of Toyota ATF T-IV = JWS 3309 (specified by Toyota), which made me worry. I am worry that the non specified ATF fuild may damaged the gearbox in long run. I consulted a friend who is a qualified mechanical engineer working in Liebheer (maintaining lots of heavy duty hydraulic machines) he told when the fuild is low viscosity, then it will not damaged the gearbox, perhaps less efficient... However, I also like to hear an automobile engineer's expert opinion and experience for using different hydraulic fuild in gearbox. Thank you
