2. Curd (dahi) - 1 cup
3. Salt (namak) - 1 tspn
4. Water (pani) - ¾ glass +1/4 glass
5. Eno - 1 sachet (lemon flavor or regular flavor)
For Stuffing:
1. Refined oil (refined tel) - 1 tblspn
2. Mustard seeds (rai) - ¼ tspn
3. Big mustard seeds (sarso dana) - ¼ tspn
4. Curry leaves (curry patta) - 3-4
5. Asafoetida (hing) - ¼ tspn
6. Skinned Black gram (urad dal) - 1 tspn
7. Split chickpeas (chana dal) - 1 tspn
8. Green chilli (hari mirch) - 2
9. Onion (pyaj) - 1
10. Turmeric powder (haldi) - ¼ tspn
11. Salt (namak) - ½ tspn
12. Boiled potatoes (uble hue aloo) - 4 to 5

For Tarka:
1. Refined oil (refined tel) - 1 tblspn
2. Mustard seeds (rai) - ¼ tspn
3. Big mustard seeds (sarso dana) - ¼ tspn
4. Curry leaves (curry patta) - 5 to 6
5. Green chilli (hari mirch) - 4
6. Red chilli powder
7. Black salt
