its only when you actually try to play this song perfectly that you find out how badass of a drummer Frank actually was. This one requires a ton of stamina.

Nicely done. Not just the drumming but the camera work. This guy makes it look easy. i’ve got two drum kits in a music room that have been covered with sheets for a long time due to an illness. this video makes me want to go out and pull the sheets off. 👍🏻 One of the kits is a Ludwig rock duo from 1970 in sky blue pearl. The other kit is a Gretsch monster plus in natural maple.

Those sound like they're beautiful kits. I hope you get better and can get back to playing soon!

@@Sasha-fr6ub I’ve got three kits. My first kit from 1966 is Slingerland in silver sparkle. The double bass Ludwig kit. And the 10 piece Gretsch kit that has been turned into two kits. A Charlie Watts/John Bonham type and a fusion kit. I sent one of the rack toms to Ayotte to match color and had them build a 20 x 20 bass. That one has a 13 x 6 wood hoop snare by Allegra drums. So natural maple with the translucent red snare. All that stuff is going to go on the block shortly. I have survived pancreatic cancer, at least for now. Lots of super aggressive chemo and many surgeries including what’s called a Whipple procedure. About 5% survive and expected lifespan after a Whipple they say is five years. Anyway, hopefully I’ve got time to get my affairs in order and get tons of music gear, boats, collector cars, etc sold so my wife and daughter don’t have to deal with it. And I’ve been real lucky so far and maybe my luck will hold out. Doctors and nurses are high on my list of heroes. Tumor institute and critical care nurses are like Angels. I wish everyone that happens to read this the best. Be kind, patient, and understanding with everyone you know and meet. Make good memories. Life is short, even if you live a long time 👍🏻😘

I was hoping Pascal would grow a giant beard for this one. Ah well. Man, talk about some five-star iconic drum fills in this classic. Every bar-band drummer in the world should have them in their back pocket.

great job. spot on. since you have two bass drums and when on the ride cymbal...would it be easier to do the bass drum pattern with both feet? and really liked the opening fill with just left hand on the hi-hat, stealing that! again, great job.
@ArtOfDrumming

Hey thanks for the nice words! :) Yes it would be a lot easier to play but those two kick drums are different sizes so to have a consistent sound playing one kick drum with one foot was the way to go.
