Saw them live recently when they opened for Cory Wong's band during their winter tour. I was amazed by their style and playing especially as a young latino who grew up with some of the cumbia songs they were covering and into 50's style of rock music. After the show they were humbly selling their merch at their merch stand and I got to strike up a conversation with the 3 of them! Of course I had to talk to the guitar player about his tone and he said it's all in the amp haha. Forever will be a fan of their music.

@@murphyshsu don’t know to be honest, usually that’s something I look out for as a guitarist but I was more focused on their playing throughout their set and didn’t want to nerd out too much about gear 😂

I saw them in Davis - with much respect to Wong but I literally just went for them. Don’t care if technically Cory is better - bought 4 7” because although many consider them a “cover” band - they’re not. We’re in the beginning of a trajectory. Cody was holding down merch and Zac Dom helped in with sales after their set. Definitely wanted to nerd out more!
