Once upon a time there was Villa Pesaro-Martinati, the residence of Pietro Paolo Martinati, a famous palethnologist and naturalist as well as a member of the Italian Parliament from 1867 to 1870. He had also created a garden of rare plants in the villa. In 1920, when the villa was sold, the main structure was demolished. Parts of the rustic outbuildings and the oratory dedicated to the Madonna of the Conception remain.
