I love the Link putter. I’m a 5HC and on my way down in a large part because of this putter. In my testing, I made 38% more putts 3-6ft with this putter than anything else I tried. Had my heart set on a beautiful Scotty until I tried this! Feel is different than the Scotty, not a bad thing, just different. It’s a very solid but soft feel to me. I tried the DF2.1 and the Mezz as well…good results also, just not my cup of tea visually and each one has a different feel and sound I didn’t enjoy as much as the Link. There is some engineering magic in the stability and balance. I’ve always been a good lag putter from longer distances, now with the Link I’m more accurate. This putter stays on line for me better than any one I’ve ever tried. I still choose the wrong line, but the putter sends the ball down the path I choose. Expensive? Yep, but putting and chipping is where the money is at in golf. I play a $100 used Ping G driver because I haven’t found big enough gains in any other driver to justify the cost (in my opinion the shaft matters more than the driver head)…but the Link putter gains justify the cost ten fold.

I have the DF, mezz max and link…love all of them. L.A.B is the real deal, game changer for your stroke. Definitely makes putting easier. I personally game the LINK with a Garsen Max Tour grip and it’s an incredible combination. Super solid connected stroke with great feel especially for fast greens. To me the LINK is the easiest out of the L.A.B putters to align my putter/body to my intended target line. Also it fits in the bag the best.

@@openstenosis I had the df at the stock 69° lie. Never loved it. Couldn’t get the distance right it was always too long or too short and it was frustrating. Did the virtual fitting for a mezz max and was recommended for a 71° lie angle. Bought one in my specs with the Accra shaft and I love it. The different for me was night and day. The head size in the df was just too large for me.

The looks are fantastic. My friend has the Mezz and LOVES IT! Super soft feel. I’m not a fan of center shaft putters, or I’d probably have one too. They play a trick on me and I block putts right. Very cool looking putters, and super nice to use. I just wish I could get over the center shaft thing. Those things look super sharp in the bag too!! Great choice, and definitely go Mezz!

Why Would a good putter not benefit? Makes no sens. If anything a good putter would benefit even more to shave of those hard needed few strokes that makes the whole difference att low hcp taking it one step forward. I am a 2.4 hcp good putter and just started gaming the DF3. It is absolutly insane. As long as I read the line good I hole everything. Never ever have holed so many long putts. And the distance control and roll is the best I have ever putted in 20+ y. Yesterday I had 29 putts, 4 birdies and 7 one-putts. The ones i missed was left with tap-ins. It’s definitly not a gimmick but the importance of getting fit the right lie angle is key. If the lie is wrong it Will definitly be harder to adjust and get the most of the tech.

I've had this putter in the bag for about three weeks. I am still retuning into how much oomph I need on medium putts especially, but basically when you pick your line, it stays on that line. Its by far the most I have ever spent on a club but I am positive this will help my game far more than any expensive driver ever would. Time will tell but at that price it needs to be in my bag for the next ten years!!

I played with one of these yesterday (in store) for about thirty min. Where I have been having problems with my Scotty C. Blade is on long puts . To get the distance I have to make a longer swing and I can not seem to get and acute speed. This club is much heavier and I could get what I needed with a short back swing and a good follow through. Putters Are like a new girl friend , that first date is great . I am going back today for a second date , let’s see how she can proform on that.

I’ve had the Link.1 in the bag for a couple months now, and I can say it’s legit. My SGP has dropped a considerable amount, due to it’s ability to allow me to focus on line and speed without a worry of me hitting off line. You can legitimately feel the putter face wanting to stay square through impact. I was using a Scotty Cameron Newport Beach 1.5, which is a toe hanging heel shaft putter, but even though the feel of the Scotty may suit me better, the Link.1 outperforms it in every other category. It’s the ideal putter for someone who’s always struggled to let nerves get in the way of their ability to hit their line.

You say describe it as something along the lines that, the design principles are far from traditional. I'd disagree and it adheres to the same limitations that govern any putter being FB, there are a few factors that they utilize that are closer to how they are used in mallets as they are accepted more easily in them. Rather than "Genius or Gimmick" I'd say they are cleverly using the old smoke and mirrors trick :-)
