Your hair looks great! I'll never understand why complete strangers get so worked up about over things you choose to do in your life. IF your numbers shift because you aren't taking your pill as the doctors & drug companies recommend, you'll go back to taking it. You know your body & how it reacts. You are doing your own research! I am proud of you for stepping out of the box that people want to keep you in!!!!

Down low men should be arrested and thrown in prison if caught. They put women’s health at risk and it will only continue unless these men are held accountable. I know a lot of women who got HIV from DL men and it breaks my heart to see. Such men need prison time for their reckless actions.

@@renny6151 when I tried to take legal action, I was told that since he was my husband, "informed consent" didn't apply, even tho he failed to tell me of his diagnosis and went his separate way, leaving me to find out after a period of time had gone by. I was SO sick, and the doctors in my rural area were absolutely clueless. The health department decided I was low risk because of being married and not a drug user, and didn't give me an HIV test when I had requested it. The whole play out of things was ridiculous and terrible things could have been avoided, but to go thru all that then have zero legal recourse was a spit in the face. I lost my job as a substitute teacher, the college wouldn't let me go for careers that they deemed inappropriate for someone with HIV, my own family behaved with strong discrimination, friends no longer wanted to eat at the same table, my life was legitimately turned upside down and inside out. Justice is SO far out of reach that it isn't funny. ABSOLUTELY there should be legal recourse, at least alimony for spouses then get infected during marriage. It could be the rural area I'm in, that is the issue, cuz people in cities or less rural areas seem to be able to take legal recourse, but not where I'm living.

Hi Jen. Im starting my first time biktarvy prescription. I don't have any symptoms, (yet) but the doctor took 15 samples of blood, checked me and than gave me this to start right away. My fiancé has been taking them for 6 months now and she's fine. I'm deceived that I did finally tested positive, but we have been together for 10 years and I don't see myself with someone else anyway. I'm stressed out to the idea, but its life I guess.

We build up what is called a "trough level" which means the medication builds up in our system and stays there till our body spends it... they can actually do tests to check our trough levels to see how many days without before it affects us. Each person will be different. I took medical courses in college as well as this is what was explained to me by my doctor, when my insurance expired and I couldn't get my meds for 3 months. He said fear is more likely to cause a flare up for me than going without meds for a short time. They just don't tell people about this or too many people would stop taking their meds, which is also why they never bothered to explain what "undetectable" actually meant for me and my health. Health departments are keeping people in fear, on purpose, but in all reality, there are worse things to get than HIV, cuz we actually have the chance to recover and live full lives. I'm not saying to "throw caution to the wind", however it's definitely time to take the fear factor out of the equation. People's fear and discrimination cost me my job a few times because they get away with discrimination here in Montana. Medicine has come a long ways, but people don't research things and sometimes, they can't understand it until they go thru it themselves on some level.

@@kenofken9458 there's a science to reprogramming one's system. Yes, no 2 people are the same. I have a complete different set of beliefs on how our bodies have the capability to heal itself when given what it needs to do so. There's a wide variety of plant medicine that builds a person's immune system. My CD4 count is above 1300 and viral load is undetectable, so my theories are proving true. I'm not at liberty to share all of my science or beliefs on someone else channel. I just wanted to be supportive cuz she's definitely onto something, same as me... I just haven't been brave enough to do my own videos yet... but that's not as important as being supportive of each other.

One thing that amazes me is how many people are infected with HIV yet there is such limited HIV focus personal content. It just shows how deep and unbearable the stigma still is!

I really enjoy the dating stuff I must say. Most people don't say what they really think when it comes to dating. The ick thing for example, a lot of women will say oh if he treats me right and has good heart, that's all I need. Plss we all have big things and a ton of little things that are off putting and you actually talk about them and are specific about them! I thought I was weird for noticing things like that and rejecting men over them but it's actually quite common.. question: not naming names but do you ever think it would be nice to get back together with an ex? Missing them or thinking you'd like to try again with them instead of having to meet a whole new person with all their baggage? Would it make sense or would it be a quick no for all of them?

About dude grabing your feet? Well, first Corinthians 7 says, "It is not good for a man to touch a woman, if the woman is not his wife." I have female doctor, dentist, and working on getting a female surgeon. Yes, difficult to get anesthesiologist, and all nurses to be as well, but so far so good. Hope that will help put a verbal barrier of adherence around you, when you want the stalkers to give you 50 feet of freedom.
