For your patients with a suspected ACL or Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury, then Lachman's test should absolutely be a part of your diagnostic testing kit! This is a test which I have really benefitted from over the years, especially working in an Emergency Department treating football, rugby and netball players who come in with a swollen knee after a sports injury!
During this video I will take you through how to complete this test, but also with some unique tips on handling, technique and how to interpret your findings during the test.
So many therapists approach me saying that they find this test really difficult in practice, and so I have made sure that I have really broken down the exact methods of how to do this test during the video so that you can become super confident in how to apply this test in your practice!
