These are some views of the Delaware River Viaduct and the Paulinskill Viaduct which are a few miles apart. Built in 1911, they were part of the now-abandoned Lackawanna Cut-Off line which provided service between NYC and Scranton. The last train crossed in 1979.
Clips of the Delaware River Viaduct include views of I-80 with the Delaware Water Gap in the background. This bridge is referred to by some locals as Alice because of the graffiti with ties to Alice in Wonderland.
Parking near these bridges is difficult because "no parking" signs underneath. You are also not to walk on top of the bridge as that would be considered trespassing. But that does not seem to stop many people.
