To the guy in the wood Aleutian kayak with the split bow the lower.part cuts through the water efficiently while the wider upper.part gives buoyancy so the craft does not submarine

So after 5 years, what happened to the boat? To my cycling eyes it appears that you don't have enough leg extension at the end of you pedal stroke.

u can tell an engineer didn't design the paddle wheel - not efficient at all - too much power escaping from the sides of the wheel

The hear ratio is pretty high unless you are up to speed.. the blade design on the paddle boat is interesting. What's the theory behind those?

"Behind you" Another arrogant, self important tool, with his hand made tour yak. Good luck on the build. I will say, those blades seem like they make a bit of noise. We fisheman like to be as stealthy as possible. I know that goes against the whole design, but there's always the possibility of re-engineering could quiet them.

Beautiful creation, do you find yourself not concentrating on real work during these projects?
