You should make enquiries about homes in Ikoyi. Many collect rent in dollars!! Condo apartments actually cost more than $1m, although resale value is low. Tango towers set the precedent by selling condo apartments for $1m a few years ago. Joe this is no joke, it's just the state of real estate in Ikoyi. Many people are willing to pay that amount that's why they keep building and selling in dollars.
@NedMedia

Some duplexes in Ikoyi are on the market for N1.5b that's about $3m
@joem551
2 жыл бұрын
@@NedMedia I know that. I was referring to what you said at the beginning that 3 bedroom apartments cost 1.5 million dollars, and 4 to 5 bedroom apartment and detached penthouse cost 4 to 5 million dollars. If some houses in Ikoyi cost up to 1.5 billion naira ($3 million) as you said, that's still less than the 4 to 5 million dollars you projected for 4 to 5 bedroom apartments and detached penthouse. Houses with it's own compound and gates in Nigeria (not an apartment or detached penthouse) that cost up to 1.5 to 2 billion naira are rare. I don't think there is anywhere in Nigeria that 3 bedroom apartment in an apartment complex cost up to 1 million dollars in reality not projected asking price by the developer. Do they actually ended up selling the condos in Tango Towers for $1 million or was it an exaggerated marketing plot to increase it's market values? If Tennants do pay that amount, then that will be a big 419 or rip off on the part of the buyers lol. As a seller or developer, you can put your asking price to any amount, but it is what the buyers pay eventually is what the actual price is. But still, my brother, I personally will not spend that amount for any house outside of my hometown in Nigeria. Only my own private house in my village and my village only will I spend such amount. The houses I see in expensive part of Lagos and Abuja is not worth their prices at all. The house designs are good, landscaping and roads are extremely bad, house appliances they put there are cheap and archaic compare to modern ones. All of that are extremely below what you can get for houses that cost the same price in a great neighborhood here in America lol with better future prospects. Anyway, no wahala! I enjoyed the video.
