Bought this and used it this weekend on a job. I was able to go around the entire SUV on one urofiber pad and it looked brand new every time. Highly recommended!!

It's pretty expensive for a weekend or enthusiasts. The grit guard pad cleaner is also good. I just wash them by hand.

@bkurt yes pads aren’t cheap but for the price of this machine you could buy all the pads you’d ever need and still be able to clean them with a simple brush or compressed air. The pad washer is definitely useful but it’s way overpriced and it’s buy old quality is ok at best. I have one and it was not built very well.

Had one of the first designs years ago... It does work but there is the time to get it set up, etc.,... I still use a lot of pads, throw them used, in a bucket of Snappy Clean, and then clean them by hand after..They are easy to clean, rinse, and are dry in a little over 24 hours... But I have a lot of pads, so this is not a big deal for me... Thanks for showing how this works... Some people will really like it...

I let my pads soak in a bucket with some 3D towel kleen. I rinse them under cold water and spin them in a modified 5 gallon bucket. Thanks for your videos. I now am doing paint corrections for friends and getting paid for it.

Looks well made and something that will likely pay for itself for someone who polishes almost on a daily basis. But for the average DIYer, the its bulk and the price tag don't make it highly appealing; if it was half-ish the price I think it would be a no-brainer to buy it.

you can do entire car using one pad with this otherwise you will need 6 to 8 pads thinking how many different type of pad we are working with depend on different finishes worth the price tag even for a DIYer not to mension you are working with cllean pad every single pass it is an awesome tool for polishing

I just hate that this came a month after I got 3000D unit. Maybe I'll try to mod it to keep the dirty water out. It makes since why my pad cleaner isn't doing as well anymore. Thanks for the video.

Fyi- the previous model was the 3000D and this new model is the 4000 Deluxe. But its not the 4000D as I kept referring to it as. Its forever in my brain as 4000D but if you search for it make sure to search "Lake Country 4000 Deluxe Pad Washer" 🤦♀️

Hello Chelsea, I hope you are doing well.! If you don’t mind. I destroyed a wool pad cleaning it on the pump that gets the solution out.. I noticed you are working on them did they change how they design this part make it less sharp.

You talked about cleaning them and continuing to use them around the vehicle. Did you mention the drying time they need?
@attention2detailswchelsea

They spin almost dry but I rotate at least 3 pads per vehicle and get the most dry but it actually primes the pad and you dont need as much product with them slightly damp

So once you clean the pads, do you immediately use them or do you like to let them dry a bit?

You can do either but if I'm going to immediately use them I run a quick microfiber over the surface just to get it a little more dry while spinning on low

I have the LCS 4000. I was on the fence for a while about it but it definitely is very useful for all the reasons you mentioned and it makes cleaning pads a breeze while saving you time but I think it’s massively overpriced. A pair of plastic buckets, a pump, and seal shouldn’t cost $180. I don’t find the build quality all that great either. Mine had a misaligned screw and spring so the top mushroom shaped washed basin constantly gets stuck when pumping it which reduces the overall efficiency & makes it a pain to use. My unit also had several sharp plastic jags and pieces left over from the manufacturing process which would tear up a pad that I had to file down. I got mine on sale for $130 and even at that price I feel it’s a way overpriced. This should cost about $75 at most. Is it useful and time saving, most definitely… but it’s price point and build quality are major downfalls.

Another thing to note is that this slings water all over the place when spinning the pad dry which isn’t great for your polisher as it will get wet
