Happy childhood memories!! Had a May bush in my childhood home here in Sydney - which of course bloomed in September, when my siblings & I would play amongst it’s branches & pretend it was snowing 🥰 ☃️ Thanks for sharing your lovely hike 🥾🪂🐑🐑🐑 & your spooky storytelling 👻😆

Thank you for sharing. Enjoying all your videoes. In 2008 I was a novice hiker, we missed Souther Fell due to misreading my map. I have unfinished business. This video has prompted me to go and tick it off.

That's great to hear - it's an easy fell to miss out, but with the effort, particularly if you get a good day for the views. All the best.

I've never done Souther Fell so found this very interesting. Loved the ghost story. Not been up to the Lakes in the last few weeks due to this dreadful weather. What happened to summer? In the meantime thanks for taking us along on this great little video.

Thank you! I'm not claiming that pronunciation is 100% correct - logically, it should obviously be "Souther", and then everybody can get on with their days!
