Had to close out the 2023 hard water season in action! March 31st was a cold, wet, and rainy day but that didn't stop the perch from biting. SOLO MISSION in Cook's Bay, I sat in 17ft of water and never moved. I would jig the size 4 Rapala Rippin' Rap to "call" the fish in, and then finesse them on the VMC tungsten glow jig tipped with a one inch red spike tail. I used the same piece of plastic all day. Biggest perch went 13 1/8" with an overall great average size!
Enjoy the video featuring multiple shots from the Aqua-VU AV 715c camera as well.
(Poor weather patterns are to blame for the murky waters unfortunately.)
