A kayak can be an inexpensive way to get off the shoreline and out on the water 😁

Nice video. Used to fish the same place the same way before all the netting. We used jointed quick fish tipped with bait. Would like to see more videos 👍

Are the Macks any good to eat? What time of the year is the best to catch the Macks?

Yes, macks are very good to eat. They are an oily fish, so they are very good for smoking and on the grill 👍 I think just about anytime is a good time to catch them. In the spring they move into very shallow water, so they can be caught near shore by casting spoons too. 😁
