Always found it weird how he overperforms in films that are not quite as strong at the foundation such as this one and coach Carter and even snakes on a plane. It’s like when they need a black actor for a film that’s meant to be a B film they’re like “well let’s call Sam!”

Samuel L Jackon plays the slimy villain in the best way possible and plays the good guys that die a tragic great death like Jurassic Park and Deep Blue Sea or heroes that live through the movie or he was in Spiral the final Saw Jigsaw chapter franchise he plays retire police officer and Chris Rock's character's dad but I'm not going to give anymore away for those who haven't seen the movie.

In this scene, Lisa very much should have worded it different and said as long as it was ok with him she could come over anytime she wants to. The other way around did make it sound like what he thought didn’t matter. If she would have worded it the other way around he wouldn’t have had reason to act the way he did. Yes the whole thing shouldn’t have happened like it did anyways but then of course this is how the writers wanted it to go.
