Isn’t it amazing, that the people who scream and complain the loudest, have no clue of your purpose. It’s called wildlife management. Your shots are precise and humane. Being a reloader myself, I know the work that went in to be able to make those shots, well done! Love the videos!
@David-ws6zr

Your completely right, when i say to people i shoot they ask me what do i shoot,I say vermin and deer ,they completely go off on one saying im cruel ,i take 1 deer a year for my own consumption, shoot fox and crows that cause a problems to farmers, living in Ireland foxes and Crows causing problems in the lambing season. Some people thing just because we own a rifle we go out shooting anything that moves, not the case at all, as Simon has demonstrated he will not take a shot if there isnt a back drop and have to say doing a very good job in trying to educate people why we do it. i hope i haven't offended anyone but i have to speak up.
@silvergrizzly316
2 жыл бұрын
@@David-ws6zr you're exactly right David, those people who say we're "cruel", if they'd educate themselves they would know if it wasn't for hunters the deer and other wildlife would definitely overpopulate and die of disease and starvation in regions that heavy snow accumulates for extended periods of time. To me, you and everyone else that has any common sense that would be cruel but we'll never be able to get those people to understand that, to them we hunters are ALWAYS going to be the bad people. 👍👍
@foxtales4809

@@silvergrizzly316 My take on taking deer is its a lot less cruel than eating the meat from farmed livestock . This isn't a criticism of farming , a farm animal lives its life in a relatively stress free environment . Come its time , it is herded into a trailer or truck , driven for miles then offloaded into an alien environment to await slaughter . By comparison, deer are shot in their natural environment , without the stress and fear faced by livestock , where they are taken unknowingly and humanely with a rifle . I know which I consider the more cruel.
@silvergrizzly316
2 жыл бұрын
@@foxtales4809 I understand what you're saying my friend but believe it or not, I would think it's the other way around. At the beginning of deer season when rifles begin cracking off, that's the first thing that educates deer and gets their adrenaline pumping. Along with hunters in the woods pressuring deer every day begins to be incredibly stressful on deer, this is one reason why we need to try and push for legalization of suppressors when hunting, to try and eliminate some of the loud cracks, the anticipation of death is worse than death itself. I rifle hunt but I love my bow and crossbow hunting a lot too. Not too much we can do about "hunting pressure" on deer. Now cattle, I think would be less stressful do to the fact, like you were saying, live a stress free life, not knowing where they're are going but really aren't pressured, although I know how they use to dispatch beef cattle I'm not sure how they would do it current day. Any thoughts? Have a great day!

Hi Simon another great video, there’s no nonsense in your videos it’s straight forward pest control carried out in a humane manner while still respecting your targets. There are too many people quick to jump on the bandwagon and vilify what we do, with little concept of how the natural world really works. Their hypocrisy gets to me in that they’ll be quite happy to tuck into their steak or sausage and mash and give little or no thought to the animal that provided it. They have delegated the responsibility of putting meat on the table to someone else and do not want to be reminded of the basic abattoir brutality of getting it there. Anyhoo rant over nice to see you both out and about Jack is indeed the main man in your operation clearly a nice mutually shared relationship. Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴

Despite what some people think nature has been unbalanced since man created permanent settlements. Some vermin like crows and rats have taken advantage of this to the detriment of other species. Great viewing as always. With a ever growing population and building everywhere land management will be ever more important unfortunately for the do gooders this includes pest control. So maybe they can set there sights on the ever growing immigration problem and leave honest working people alone. You do a great job with great skill and care ..
