Strewth mate. Your Italian may not be too good but your grasp of the English language is fantastic. Fair Dinkum mate.

Awesome series, really! And I don't even have a Lambretta, got a smallframe Vespa that I'm currently rebuilding the engine of. I think many Italians like me subscribe because there are not good tutorial videos in Italian for working on Lambrettas. Your videos are very informative and well shot. Wish I found this series 2 years ago, a friend of mine got a 64 TV175 and he ended up paying someone to fix it for the lack of good tutorials on the net. Stay safe!

Thank you. Not long until we start on the vespas. Everyone should have some Italian style in their garage 😎

@@kickbackgarage I've seen that huge stash of Vespas and stuff you just brought home! That was a great score. I'm looking forward to it. And I agree, the world would be a better place with more italian scooters around :) If you want, I can volunteer to sub your videos in italian in the future. Keep up the great videos!

@@kickbackgarage Well, it may be so but the whole world has lot of time at the moment. Hhaahahah. I found your english really clear and easy to understand. And, I'm at home in lockdown, unemployed so time is not an issue, unfortunately! I'll read about youtube subtitles and report you back. If you want, you could send me an email to contact you in private. Have a nice evening!

@@kickbackgarage You're welcome. I did up a TV175/2 a few years ago and was feeling your pain fitting those rubbers between the front mudguard and the legshields.

I think you will get hot engine air if you drill the airbox, is it not better to grind the neck a little?.

Hi Rob great vid again I’ve got the same setup as your build but i took the air box out and sat the high flow filter connected to the GP bellows in the space left by the box so I’ve got cool air flowing down from the air scoop right on top of the filter seems to work brilliant but you can buy a BGM air box made for the job it’s slightly larger with no concave and no tube inside what’s your opinion

Late reply, Hi flow filter works good but the owner of this wanted to keep the airbox so I cut out the elbow.

Another great vid Rob, what size carb are you going to be running ? We used to drill holes in air boxes back in the 80's to allow more airflow. Do like how you've removed baffle to keep it looking original. DO you need to drill holes after removing baffle ?? Great to hear the Italians are taking interest in your ideas & techniques aswell. Keep it up . Cheers*****

Kickback Garage waste of time doing it, it’s the old style airbox which is concave so that one side of the upgraded air filter will still be blocked on the inside. Some might disagree 😉
