It really helps to be able to see how it's done. Years ago when I first learned photos were the best one could find. You're also a very good teacher- you talk in layman's terms (not over our heads. :) Very cool! Thank you!

Thank you! This is the best video on making and applying murrini I have seen. I agree with other comments that you are a good teacher. Your explanations are clear. I like your technique of applying the cane to the bead and cutting.

I enjoyed this video very much, your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I hope you make many more videos, IMO you're the KZitem successor to the wonderful and missed Jeannie Cox.

Thank you very much. Jeannie was so wonderful and giving with her knowledge. I have learned many things watching her videos and hopefully I can add a few more to the community. Yes, she is sorely missed. 💓

Awe, I have been watching Jeannie Cox. I had no idea she passed. It is her videos that enticed me to buy a kit, which is just now on my kitchen table while I create a good workspace. Im sad she is gone.

Something to not. When marvering layers heat just the skin of your design marver. Smooth. So the uneven surface doesnt get pushed into the inaide design

Very nice video what is the angle called that is attached to the top of your torch and can I find this? Thanks 😊
@daynaschutter338

Thanks! That is a torch top marver I got from Blast Shield (theblastshield.net). Many lampwork supply companies have them. Just have to make sure it is the correct one for your brand of torch. 😄

@@daynaschutter338 iv been thinking about getting that model. How does it work on boro with an O² concentrator
@daynaschutter338
5 жыл бұрын
@@kodyfrost I've never worked boro, so I don't know if it would work. I ran it with 2 Ex-15 concentrators. It is a good torch, but I needed a larger flame. I changed this past year to a Carlisle Wildcat, which I run on 3 Ex-15's. Sorry, not much help.

What size is your mandrel that you made the shell cane on?

I like using 3/16" mandrels to make all my murrini on. 😁
